Hey, painters! For those of you looking curiously at the seven new achievements we let slip on Steam, yes there’s new stuff coming to Behind the Frame! I’ll have a little more detail on what that all entails in the not-too-distant future, but I did just want to state plainly and for the record: The new achievements aren’t completable (yet!) So, if you’re an achievement hunter thirsting after the coveted 100%, you’ll get there Soon™. I also want to take the opportunity to talk a bit about the game’s price. On April 28th, you’ll see the base price for Behind the Frame increase from $9.99 to $12.99. If you already own the game, don’t worry! This won’t affect you one bit. If you have the game on your wishlist, I’d recommend picking it up now before the price increases on April 28th. To pull back the curtain on that decision a bit, we’ve talked internally a lot about the way we’d like to release the upcoming Behind the Frame content in a way that felt fair for everyone, us, the developers and you guys. Ultimately, we decided it’d be best to release the new content for free while also increasing the base price of the game. Everyone will be able to play the new content the day it goes live if they own Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery - with no hassle outside of downloading the game or updating their current version. To reflect and respect the time and effort it took to develop the new content, we’re going to increase the base price of the game for any purchases after April 28th. If you have any questions or concerns about the price increase or the new achievements, please feel free to ask! As always, I’ll try to answer all the questions I can. Otherwise, I hope you’re looking forward to the next juicy morsel of Behind the Frame coming Soon™. -Buddy
