Hello Tourists, We are happy to bring you the latest, and largest, patch for Chapter 2! This should fix a majority of reported problems, bring in more quality of life improvements, and fix the lingering achievement issues players have run into. We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts with us so we can continue to improve the game where we can. You can see the full patch notes below. [b][STEAM ONLY] [/b] Users have the option of using the DirectX 12 mode for [i]Retribution[/i]; however, this is a late production cycle feature, so it may not work perfectly with all PC configurations. We encourage players to manually change from DirectX 11 to 12 and see how the game performs. Our tests showed significant improvement in some cases, but it is heavily depending on your current hardware configuration, so results may vary from system to system. To adjust the DirectX setting, put “-dx12” into the Steam app launch parameters. [b]Critical Fixes[/b] -All Achievements are now properly unlockable. -[i]PROGRESSION BLOCKER FIX[/i] - Players who died in Speakeasy AFTER completing the optional mission during “His Will Be Done” will no longer be stuck. -[i]PROGRESSION BLOCKER FIX[/i] - Players who left the area before completing the “Hunting the Hunter” mission will no longer be stuck. -Escape moment at the end of “Off on the Wrong Foot” improved. [b]Quality of Life Improvements[/b] -Floating flare at the front of the bus in The Resting Place map has been removed. -Barks during “Hunting the Hunter” combat have been tuned. -[i][LOCALIZATION][/i] Subtitles for Walkie-Talkie now translated. -[i][LOCALIZATION][/i] Wording on the whiteboard of tutorial is no longer truncated. -Difficulty mode can now be changed via the pause menu. -Fully reloading sawed-off shotgun missing only one bullet now possible. -Grenades are easier to pick up. -Fixed some collision issues on maps during “Bigger Fish to Fry” mission. -Journal task update fanfare will now trigger consistently. [b]General Visual Fixes[/b] -Removed some visual artifacts. -Fixed floating locker in Rampart. -Fixed some countertops being blacked out. -Fixed some disappearing buildings in Tower Approach. -Improved texture assets in areas. -Fixed a few “out of world” visibility areas. -Fixed posters incorrectly positioned. -Beretta and M4 muzzle flash with suppressor added. -Floating unnecessary UV cats reduced. -Placeholder decals replaced. -Fixed the disappearing assets in some cases. -Improved elevator doors animation.
