Announcing Frontier Paladin!

Hello everyone! We're very excited to announce the game we have been working on for over 2 years now. Introducing - Frontier Paladin! Frontier Paladin covers new ground for us. The game is a blend of action-adventure, RPG, and action-tower defense. Frontier Paladin is set in a dark fantasy world, where a massive empire spanning a continent and at the height of it's power imploded. A powerful ritual was launched at the Capitol City, not only killing many but also changing the geography of the city and a massive area around it, creating an unnatural Crater through which no one has entered or exited for decades. Until now - in an effort to recover lost divine artefacts for the newly reformed Paladin Order, Paladin Apprentice Titus (that's you!) follows his Master and an Imperial Legion into the Crater. Expecting an easy stroll around an old battlefield picking up priceless relics, they're shocked to find the Crater teeming with hostile life controlled by warlords. With their exit route cut off, Titus must take control of his destiny and win the favour of his gods. Let's take a look at the main activities Titus will be doing on his quest in Frontier Paladin
CRUNCHY COMBAT
While not all Titus will encounter in the Crater will be hostile, the vast majority will be. Titus will have to face off against the Undead, Demons, the Orcish Horde, and more. Titus has been training hard with his Master, but there's nothing like real world experience. Further, smiting evil is a Paladin's business and when business is good, the Gods smile upon you. As Titus levels up, various Blessings and Boons can be selected to customize Titus' fighting style. Finding and prying Blessed Relics from the clutches of his enemies will improve Titus' equipment and make him a stronger fighter. Some of the allies Titus will find on his journey will also help him improve his martial mastery.
ACTION TOWER DEFENSE
Some legendary Paladin Masters may have had a the reputation of being one-man armies, but as an Apprentice, Titus appreciates he'll need help on occasion. Such as when defending the Keepsake, the fort the Order is sheltering in. The local Warlords won't sit back and let the Order have it their way entirely - they will attack the Keepsake and other areas under Order control at times. Facing innumerable hordes, Titus will deploy traps, barricades, magical turrets, allies and a myriad of other defenses to keep the enemy at bay. Using limited resources efficiently and finding the best combination of defenses against the specific enemies attacking will be key to keeping the Keepsake standing.
REBUILDING THE ORDER
The Paladin Order is a shell of what it once was. Once numbering in the hundreds, now there are but two Apprentices, one Master. While the expedition can no longer be considered a jaunt through an orchard, opportunities naturally follow the apparent risks. As Titus explores the Crater, he'll have the chance to recruit new members. Members with unique skill-sets, that can help Titus and the Order. Some of them may even stand beside him when the time comes to fight. We haven't yet talked about some other exciting things to look forward to, such as watching your Keep expand over time, or some puzzles you might run into. There's a lot to discuss and we're excited to keep on doing so! Next time, we'll talk about some of the game's systems in greater depth. Until next time! Ignatius
