Typical Nightmare is a narrative adventure horror game based on real cases from psychological practice. It tells the story of an ordinary guy named John that is trapped in his nightmares. Find out what force keeps him there and do everything to rescue John from his Typical Nightmare!
Dear players!
Two weeks have passed since we released the game. All this time our programmer did not sleep, did not eat or leave the apartment - he fixed the game. Now we are ready to introduce you to Typical Nightmare in the quality in which you should have seen it back then. We hope you will understand and support us.
The things we fixed:
- Bug with the phone (the handset went up constantly);
- Bug with the already broken bottle in the scene with the father;
- Bug with one of the choices in the game that did not affect anything;
- Now you can’t close yourself on the balcony forever (sorry, introverts);
- You can’t fall from the balcony, as well as close the already closed door;
- Now it is impossible to get stuck in anything;
- Poisonous-green logs in the forest location have acquired a normal color;
- We changed the names of the game in the in-game files;
- A small epic on the menu;
- Bug with the capture of the mouse - now you can make a choice without flying the mouse over the screen;
- Bug with heartbeats after a fight with a wolf in the elevator;
- Bug in the scenes after sleep, in the apartment: now you can’t open the main door;
- Bug with a bed: now you can’t lie down on it and restart the level with the house;
- Bug in the scene with the boss: we removed the second John;
- Loading after the neutral ending in the menu begins on time.
The things we added:
- Full gamepad support;
- Fast level loads;
- We changed the type of the download screen (interactive, with a change of quotes);
- Optimization of the first scene by 25-30%;
- The scenes after the dream are optimized by 15-20%;
- Ability to skip the first scene (we know you've been waiting for this);
- Visual changes in the scene in front of the house (steam from the mouth, it’s snowing, traces on the snow);
- New scene/location (on the level with the corridor);
- We changed the scene behind the house (in front of the basement);
- Sound design (the scene with the father);
- Sound signals in the basement, with the right choice and wrong (also when dropping the right choices);
- Boarded up elevator doors on the 2nd-3rd floor (so you understand what to do);
- Captions (a small scene in 3 minutes, before downloading the menu);
- Fountain in the toilet at its descent (the most important change, of course).
