A celebrated icon in the equine world with a rich history dating back to colonial America, the American Quarter Horse is renowned for its versatility and incredible speed over short distances. This breed has made a name for itself in racing, represented in game with a +5 Acceleration and +2 Speed bonus, the American Quarter Horse is primed to excel in races demanding quick bursts of power and speed.

New Feature: Crossbreeding

We have all these new horses, but what happens if you breed them together? Previously, breeding two different breeds of horses would result in a 50/50 chance of receiving a foal of either breed. Well, that has all changed with this update!
Introducing Crossbreeding: a game-changing feature that lets you create unique foals by combining different breeds.
Here’s how it works:

Crossbreed Definition: A horse with less than 90% of any particular breed is considered a Crossbreed.

Breeding Purebreds: Breed two different purebreds, and you’ll get a foal that’s a perfect 50-50 blend of its parents.
Crossbreeds can have up to four breeds in their genetic makeup, offering exciting combinations to explore. Imagine breeding a horse with an Arabian’s sprint energy and a Thoroughbred’s increased speed. This results in a foal with a stunning and unique visual blend and bonuses to support your preferred playstyle.
The exact outcome of your foal’s breed makeup is shown in the ‘Definite Breed Makeup’ on the Breeding Screen, ensuring you always know what to expect. With so many visual blends to discover, the possibilities are endless!
Check out our updated Breeding Guide in-game for a deeper dive into Crossbreeding. Get ready to mix, match, and create a stable of one-of-a-kind champions!
Cross Breed Bonuses
When breeding crossbreeds, you'll notice a change in how bonus stats are distributed compared to purebreds. Instead of having one stat at +5, the bonus will be split across the two breeds. For example, a Thoroughbred with +5 Jump and an Arabian with +5 Sprint will produce a crossbreed with +3 Jump and +3 Sprint. Discover the best breeding strategy to create top champions
We can't wait to see the incredible horses you'll create as you explore these exciting new features.
That wraps up this update, folks. Thanks for hanging out! Don't forget to stay tuned to the community for the latest news and competitions. Until next time, happy racing/riding, everyone!
