A few months later!

Hello, everyone. I hope you are all doing well on your end. Just like that, it's been over 2 months since the release of Is Simon There? And just like all my other games, I always like to give you all an update on how the game is doing, some feedback I was given, and what I plan on doing going forward. So how is the game doing? Well, let me start off by saying that Is Simon There? is doing fairly well. Many of you appear to really enjoy what the game has to offer - its simplicity and attention to creating a terrifying environment. Now, of course, the game may have been a little "too" simple, but none the less, I think it turned out well, and I am happy to see that many of you enjoy it, too. And the Easter Egg! I am also happy to see that many of you liked the secret little egg in the game. It is definitely a goal of mine to include some sort of egg in every game, so I definitely wont be changing anything there :) Overall, Is Simon There? is doing fairly well. It is maintaining a fair volume of sales, the reviews are spectacular, and the feedback I am given is also very wonderful. And to that, I want to thank you all for your continued support and sticking by my side when creating these projects. It truly means a lot to me. What's the plan going forward? I recently got a new job in accounting again so I will not have the time to pump out games like I was normally planning (3ish games per year) But I do think I will be able to pump out 1 game a year (as per normal). Time is definitely a tricky thing with work and potentially studying for the CFA... but I am sure I will be able to figure something out. In terms of new projects, my next game (in the planning stages) will be like my previous game Money Maker (free on Steam). HOWEVER, it will be like Money Maker but with a crap-ton of horror in it. I don't want to say too much in terms of story or game play since it is still super early, but that is kinda what I am steering towards. I am sure 99% of you have no idea what Money Maker is, but I believe adding significant horror to that style of game will be wonderous! As always, I want to thank you all for sticking around and taking the time to glance over this quick memo. I hope to begin working on my new game soon, and with that said, I hope to begin posting some screenshots in Q4 (one can only hope...). Cheers, everyone and happy gaming. Stan. T
