[i]The Legend of Zuri[/i] was designed like the interactive books of yesteryear. Back then we didn't get annoyed when we failed, it was part of the fun. However seeing the title screen may dampen the enjoyment so I have streamlined that process some.
[b]Encounter update [/b]- Most life/death fail scenarios will now let you retry them without returning to the title screen and picking a save to reload. Upon fail you can choose to quit the game or retry. Retry will send you back to a little bit before the decision that ended your run. This streamlines the process for those achievement hunting and saves time for those that simply chose the wrong path. In many scenarios there will be less dialog to re-read before you get back to decision making, in some cases you are brought back directly to your choices after you see the shortened “game over” screen.
Hopefully this takes a bit of the sting out of defeat. There are two scenarios that result in a proper game over, but that is the punishment we must accept. Be strong!
